
Volnay 1er cru «Robardelle»
This Premier Cru is distinguished by its complex aromas of ripe red fruits, morello cherries, and floral notes, with fine, silky tannins. This wine, both powerful and delicate, offers excellent ageing potential, revealing its depth and finesse over time.

The grapes are 100% destemmed. Once in the tank, we perform a cold maceration for 5 to 6 days. This allows us to carry out punching down and pumping over together to extract the characteristics of the terroir. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, while malolactic fermentation occurs in barrels.
This cuvée represents approximately 10 barrels, 20% of which are aged in new oak barrels sourced from French forests. The remainder is aged in barrels used for one or two previous vintages. Fine lees are retained during ageing to bring additional roundness and depth to the wine. After 12 months in barrels, the 10 barrels are racked and blended in stainless steel tanks, where they spend an additional 6 months before bottling.
Ageing potential: 5 to 10 years – Serving temperature: 14°C to 16°C
